PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION AND PROCESSING INFORMATION NOTICE

DATA CONTROLLER: ETHEL MARITIME LTD

As the Data Controller, ETHEL MARITIME LTD processes, stores and protects the following personal data belonging to you:

1. Identity Information

Your name and surname, your mother's and father's names, date and place of birth, gender, nationality, identity number, identity document information, blood type, religion information appearing on copies of old-type identity cards, photograph and marital status.

2. Contact Information

Your address, telephone number, e-mail address, mobile phone number, and contact information of the person to be contacted in case of an emergency.

3. Personnel and Employment Information

Information maintained within your personnel file, including your signature, the company and department you work for, Social Security Institution information, personnel registration number, military service status, driver's licence information, employment commencement and termination records, employment start date, tax information, bank account information, educational background, professional experience, references, information collected as part of your job application, curriculum vitae, information concerning criminal convictions and security measures, course certificates and training participation documents, passport information, information concerning family members and relatives, information concerning emergency contacts, personnel records, salary, benefits and working conditions, performance information, profession, duties and job title, vehicle information, information obtained within the scope of legal proceedings, height and weight information, foreign identification number where applicable, work and residence permit information where applicable, business travel information, accommodation, transportation and expenses related to such travel, requests, complaints and suggestions, visual and audio recordings, information obtained through interviews conducted with you as part of Human Resources processes, and association membership information.

In addition, we are legally required to process your health information within the scope of applicable occupational health and safety legislation.

4. Transaction and Information Security Data

Your MAC address, username and account information, and log records.

5. Visual and Audio Information

Your security camera recordings and other visual and audio recordings obtained in accordance with applicable legislation.

Accordingly, we hereby inform you, in our capacity as the Data Controller, pursuant to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("PDPL").

METHODS AND LEGAL GROUNDS FOR COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person and is collected through physical and electronic means for the purposes and within the scope specified in this Information Notice.

Your personal data may be collected by our Company through:

job application forms;

CVs and other documents you provide;

job applications submitted through our website;

forms prescribed by our Human Resources procedures;

records and documents received from contracted service providers;

documents submitted by you during the recruitment and onboarding process;

forms completed during training activities;

family status and tax-related declaration forms, where applicable;

personnel attendance and timekeeping system (PDKS) records;

information and forms provided upon request;

interviews conducted with you;

e-mail correspondence; and

telephone conversations.

Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds specified under Article 5 of Law No. 6698:

where processing is expressly provided for by law;

where processing is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract, provided that it is directly related to the parties to the contract;

where processing is mandatory for the Data Controller to fulfil its legal obligations;

where processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right; and

where processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the Data Controller, provided that such processing does not prejudice the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

Where none of the above legal grounds applies, your explicit consent will be obtained where required. The circumstances in which explicit consent is required are specified in the Explicit Consent Form.

LEGAL OBLIGATIONS RELATING TO EMPLOYEES

For our employees, and in accordance with applicable Turkish legislation, including the Maritime Labour Law No. 854, Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law No. 2004, Labour Law No. 4857, Social Insurance and General Health Insurance Law No. 5510, Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102, Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098, Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, and Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and its secondary legislation, our Company may be required to process, store and retain your personal data.

Your personal data may be processed and retained for purposes including inspections conducted by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and the Social Security Institution, maintaining records where required, contacting you when necessary, conducting statistical studies, submitting information to courts and expert examinations, and providing information to competent law enforcement authorities, organised industrial zone authorities and other legally authorised public institutions, organisations and persons upon lawful request.

Your personal data will be retained for the periods required by applicable legislation and will be deleted, destroyed or anonymised when the applicable retention period expires and where there is no other legal basis for retaining such data.

Your collected personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

managing employee satisfaction and engagement processes;

fulfilling obligations arising from employment contracts and applicable legislation;

ensuring the security of movable property and resources;

implementing and managing remuneration policies;

ensuring the security of Data Controller operations;

carrying out work and residence permit procedures for foreign employees, where applicable;

providing information to authorised persons, institutions and organisations; and

conducting management and administrative activities.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data collected in accordance with Law No. 6698 may be transferred, in compliance with the fundamental principles set forth under the Law and within the scope of the conditions and purposes specified under Articles 8 and 9 thereof, to recipients in Türkiye and abroad where legally permitted.

Such recipients may include our business partners and suppliers with whom we have a service relationship, data controller business partners, service providers, group companies where applicable, and legally authorised public institutions, organisations and persons.

International transfers of personal data shall be carried out only in accordance with the conditions and safeguards stipulated under applicable Turkish data protection legislation.

YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA SUBJECT

As a data subject, you may exercise your rights under Article 11 of Law No. 6698 in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller.

You may submit your requests in writing with a wet signature to the address of the Data Controller specified above, electronically with a secure electronic signature through the legally designated channels, or through other application methods specified under the relevant legislation.

The Data Controller will conclude your request as soon as possible and, depending on the nature of the request, within a maximum of thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of the application, in accordance with applicable legislation.

EXPLICIT CONSENT FORM

DATA CONTROLLER: ETHEL MARITIME LTD

Within the scope of the Personal Data Protection and Processing Information Notice, I hereby expressly consent, where legally required, to the processing of my blood type and religion information appearing on an old-type identity document, information concerning criminal convictions and security measures, and health information for the following purposes:

conducting occupational health and safety activities;

maintaining my personnel file in accordance with applicable labour legislation;

planning and managing Human Resources processes;

fulfilling obligations arising from my employment contract and applicable legislation;

managing employee benefits and entitlements;

conducting audit, ethics and budget-related activities;

providing information to authorised persons, institutions and organisations;

conducting legal and financial affairs;

planning and carrying out maritime and shipping activities;

monitoring, via GPS, the location of vehicles allocated to me and/or pool vehicles through a vehicle tracking system;

making announcements and communications concerning me;

processing my visual and audio recordings obtained during organisations and events;

processing my association membership information for the purpose of carrying out membership procedures of the ETHEL MARITIME LTD Employees' Solidarity Association.

I further expressly consent, where legally required, to the processing of my personal data within Türkiye and abroad and to its transfer, solely for the purposes specified above, to our business partners and suppliers with whom we have a service relationship, corporate social media channels and media organisations, data controller companies and organisations, and legally authorised public institutions, organisations and persons, in accordance with applicable legislation.

REFERENCE UNDERTAKING

I hereby acknowledge and undertake that, with respect to the personal data of the persons whom I provide as references, I have informed the relevant persons in accordance with Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and obtained any consent required under applicable legislation before sharing their personal data with ETHEL MARITIME LTD.

I further acknowledge and undertake that I shall be responsible for any claims, requests or allegations made by such reference persons arising from my failure to fulfil these obligations.

DECLARATION AND UNDERTAKING

I hereby declare that all information provided by me in this form has been completed accurately and completely.

I acknowledge and accept that any inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information provided by me may constitute grounds for termination of my employment, subject to applicable legislation and the terms of my employment relationship.

I further undertake that, if I am assigned a position by the Company, I will comply with all applicable workplace procedures, regulations, policies and rules.
